La French Tech Maurice and FINAM (Federation of Innovation & Numeric Activities In Mauritius) are pleased to inform you of the launch of the 2nd edition of the Tech4Good Challenge 2022.
This new edition aims to encourage the creation of projects in the field of “Tech for good,” particularly those in the areas of energy and ecological transition, “agritech,” “smart cities,” e-health, edtech, or inclusion.

Who can participate in this competition?
Participants must be adults, reside permanently in Mauritius, propose an innovative project, and commit to creating a startup based on this project.
Eligible applications must be submitted by November 15 at the latest, by filling out the following form: https://bit.ly/Apply-T4GC22.
What are the jury’s selection criteria for the projects?
The project must correspond to the “Tech for Good” movement (AgriTech, Smart Cities, GreenTech, Tech4ClimateChange, HealthTech EduTech, Inclusion,…). The project must not have been subject to past or current incubation. The startup must not already be in operation and must be incorporated in Mauritius.
For more information on eligibility and selection criteria, please consult the presentation at this link: https://bit.ly/T4GC22Info
Selected projects will receive assistance to finalize their application and polish their pitch. The winner will also gain international visibility and an “incubation package.”
The Tech4Good Challenge is a great opportunity for project holders who wish to develop a startup useful to the environment and society.
As a reminder, this challenge is part of a series of activities submitted to the ‘Community Fund French Tech 2021’ led by the Mission French Tech in France. This project, coordinated by the French Tech community of Cape Town in South Africa, was approved as a collective project of eight French Tech communities in Africa, and supported by Business France.
You can follow this challenge and encourage the candidates by regularly checking the social media pages of La French Tech Maurice.
The organizers of the Tech4Good Challenge wish the best to the candidates and reiterate their thanks to the stakeholders of this challenge.
