In the span of nine editions, Viva Technology has risen from the rank of newcomer to that of a major international tech event. Created in 2016 by Publicis and Les Echos, the event has grown alongside the French ecosystem, becoming a true barometer of global innovation trends. The 2025 edition confirmed this brilliantly: never before has VivaTech been so vast, diverse, and filled with structural announcements. This constant progress sets the stage for a tenth anniversary edition in 2026 that already promises to be memorable. The dates are set: from June 17 to 20, 2026, still at Paris Expo, to celebrate a decade of innovation and growth for the event. The organizers promise to mark the occasion, and we can expect the presence of iconic figures who have shaped the history of VivaTech. In the meantime, the 2025 review offers some striking lessons. On one hand, Europe now has its great tech mass capable of competing with the CES in Las Vegas or the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, a place where startups, corporates, investors, and public decision-makers meet to define the future. On the other hand, Paris asserts itself as the European capital of innovation for one week, at the crossroads of cultures and continents. Finally, the themes in focus this year—AI, climate, health, digital sovereignty—reflect the societal challenges that tech aims to address. VivaTech has proven that beyond gadgets and demonstrations, it is a platform where the ethical, economic, and political issues of the ongoing technological revolution are discussed. “ We thank all our participants and partners for their trust, which allowed us to exceed expectations at all levels “, declared co-presidents Maurice Lévy and Pierre Louette at the closing, highlighting the collective dimension of the success. The date is set for 2026 to write a new chapter of this great adventure. Viva la Tech!
